Levi Jess is a queer artist, musician, poet, philosopher, healer, father, and friend. Born in Seattle Washington in 1988 they survived a congenital heart disease after a corrective procedure at six months old. At a young age Levi showed an interest in art, music, and performance, spending hours engrossed in various creative projects. They studied musical theater throughout high school and played guitar, bass, and sang in a number of bands. Levi continued to write, study and perform music in college as well as getting back into visual art making. Levi's work is often autobiographical, exploratory, and seeks to connect universal and personal themes, find purpose and place, and create healing change. Levi is currently living and working in Seattle Washington and, pre-covid, often traveled to visit their daughter in Olympia and friends in Portland.
